The Firm
The firm was established in 1892 as Schröder and Shclebush attorneys.
During the following 91 years the firm of Schröder and Shclebush attorneys changed partners and in
1983 the firm changed from partnership to a company.
Since 2008 the company has been practicing under the name Becker Bergh & More Inc.

Poen joined the firm in 2001 and is a general litigation practitioner and an accredited mediator
He has experience in High Court and Magistrates Court litigation. Areas of special interest include: divorce, contract law debt collection, corporate law, administrative law and family law.
Johannes joined the firm in 2012 and is a general litigation practitioner with experience in High Court and Magistrates Court litigation.
Areas of special interest include: contract law, building and construction, labour disputes, divorce, debt collection and damages claims.
Jacomien joined the firm in 2014 and is part of the Convayncing, Estates and Trusts department of the office.
She is a Conveyancer and Notary and able to see to all Transfer, Bond and Notarial needs as well as Adminstration of Estates and Trusts.
Hennie joined the firm in 2001 and has handled the deeds and estate department of the office for the past nine years.
Our firm is also on the panel of three major banks, namely FNB, Nedbank and Standard Bank, where we register and cancel mortgage bonds. The company’s deeds department has 3 experienced typists who jointly have more than 30 years of experience in the deeds department. He has a Diploma in Estate Planning and areas of special interest includes Estate Planning, Drawing of Wills, administration of deceased estates and of Trust.
Lekuka joined the firm in 2006 and has experience in labour related matters as well as criminal law.
He presided as a magistrate in criminal matters and is a commissioner in CCMA matters. He chairs disciplinary enquiries as well as prosecuting on behalf of the employer and representation of employees (when permitted) in internal grievance and/or disciplinary enquiries.
